Will Rogers on Constitutional Amendments:

“Why don't they pass a constitutional amendment prohibiting anybody from learning anything? If it works as well as prohibition did, in five years Americans would be the smartest race of people on Earth.”

This reminds me of an article I read awhile back:

http://www.mises.org/fullstory.aspx?control=1081&id=79

Will Rogers was quite whitty. I always enjoy a Rogers quote, especially those pertaining to the state.

CS

That's, "witty." I need to continue to work on my proofreading skills.

CS

It's all about the skills, man.

There is more to it than that, Timothy, but the skills are huge -- and crucial!

Best regards,
CS

No, I think my original comment was correct, actually.

Regards in like kind,
Tim

I hear 'ya. You are defensive, and I'm just chillin'.

Be cool,
CS

Bob is French, FYI.

Touche! Mark, I repeat: "TOUCHE!"

Thank you,
CS

No, Mr. Hayden. No touchee.

Incorrect use of the word, Tim. Incorrect!

That was on purpose, Marcus. Figure it out, dude.

My point stands, incorrect use my friend!

To quote a great man, "Don't question me!"

Wait a second, you can’t contradict me by using my own quote against me. That’s just wrong.

To quote another great man, "I do what I like!"

My eyes saw "Will Rogers" in the subject line, but my brain read "Willie Nelson".

That’s really disturbing, Shannon.

I would just as soon delete my blog as post Willy Nelson quotes on it. There would be so many implications that could be very detrimental to my future if I started posting such things.

I thought that I would stop by and say hi again. So, to fulfill my thought: "Hi."

Thanks for your time,
CS

Hello, CS. It is indeed most pleasant to again be greeted by your thoughts.

Apparantly, Marcus, you receive the most comments when you post words that another has spoken, rather than words of your own. You might want to think deeply about that (but don't fall in).

Good point. And you receive the most comments when you post pictures of certain people, not when you write.

At least marko doesn't post on all the pear grouping events he has been to!!

Anonymous, Is that some agricultural function? I have not heard of a "pear grouping events." Maybe it's where you go to group pears?

Perplexedly,
CS Hayden

This is quite ammusing to MD Stubblefield...

Bweee.

People:

Stop wasting your collective time.

Note to Peter:

When quoting someone else's comment, please indicate such in the body of your own. Thank you.

Tim

Sorry, Mr. Tim...

PJ, thank you for your humility and for quickly resolving this problem. You are a good example for us all.

In other news, Mark, you are about to hit 30 comments for this post.

Thank you for your collective time,
CS

Wasting our collective time, just so this post will hit 30 comments.

SM

Since our family has a reputation for being late... umm... We will make the 31st comment. Mr. Roy Rogers is witty indeed.

I mean Will Rogers. Forgive me. : )

*whispers* Hey, it is Will, not Roy. But you probably knew that.

Yep! See! You did know that. Good for you!

:-)
